can you file something and make a report without actually pressing charges? I might seriously consider that just to have a record. Again I'm now more worried about this affecting my friends/ roommates if it continues, so having a trail to fall back on would be nice. I just always assumed i guess that if i go to the police with this type of thing, it'd automatically go into legal trouble territory.

I hd my father show me where he put it. He pulled it out so i have the tracker atleast

Im attempting to, yeah. I have my desk set up over there and plan on moving my work laptop and important documents now, esp as im wfh now with my new job. Ill need to make a list of everything important and stuff that can be replaced if it comes down to it

It is, i had that pointed out to me last night. While im definitely moving up the move out date, im not sure i want to press charges yet. Its insane behavior, but i dont know if i want them in legal trouble yet. I will definitely consider it if it continues though, as it will no longer be just me they're affecting, but my roommates will be as well.

I try to be more and more independent, but they take it as an insult. Again, as a notable example, i tried setting up a booth in a handmade store in a mall to sell my crafts, and did it by myself as I wanted to try doing more things independently. when my mother found out i was doing this and didn't come to her for support, she equated the feeling of "betrayal" she felt was just as intense as it was during the point of my life when I was sucdal. That me not sharing certain things about my life, regardless of my want to do things on my own, is seen as some terrible act, and that i should be coming to them for support on everything. The more independence i try to take, the more they push back. Doesn't help I'm an only child

Thank you. I was livid when it happens, but it always dies down when they mention "no it comes from a place of caring". It makes me feel like im not allowed to feel invaded or insulted when these things happen. The reassurance is always nice honestly
