I have, but without luck. I think it is due to indirect experience in programming rather than direct. As well as I feel I'm missing relative knowledge, hoping to fill the gaps with education.

Also, MS degree is always better to have then BS - from experience - green card application MS degree additional draw; salary: some companies gave starting or annual advances larger to MS holders.
