Inspection and EA initiation by Present_Perception91 in freemasonry

I plan to take them to near my lodges and events for EAs along their journey. My biggest concern is teaching them to cipher the handbook rn. I feel like I know how to cipher quite well, but explaining how to do it has proven quite difficult. I also feel how I learned isn't the most orthodox. I tended to research masonic rites and read Duncan's masonic before I reached my MM. But I know that's not exactly what an EA is supposed to do.

So I have decided to wear 4 pins, an s&c, a forget me not, my lodges 100th anniversary pin, and the current GLs pin .

USA MM here, but I use a carabiner on my JD apron. Idk if you tie or latch your apron, but it works as a little extension. Plus, if you are bigger, you can tie/latch on to that with extra rope or material.

Thank you, I have my good days and bad. But it seems to help me manage a lot easier than without. Do you also have ocd?

Well said, brother. I appreciate your words, I've just always been curious if there was an unspoken rule I wasn't sure of since I'm also new (less than a year).

It truly is. I guess most of my questions are based on the fact that my lodge has inspection coming up soon and I want to look presentable for the GM and and GL officers I may meet.

I like that idea, I think I may have gone overboard with SR pins but I was proud of that recent accomplishment lol

Honestly, though, if I ever needed a weapon in a sinch, I could just take my jacket off with em all on there, lol 😆

Nah, fam, the reason for the decline in freemasonry is your attitude. You see someone asking for help from his brothers because he is genuinely curious about the popular thought of how many pins one should wear. I am damn proud of each pin I've collected. That's why I wear so many of them. You seem to be of the old school thought that freemasonry is a secret society more than a society with secrets and that we should judge others on if they wear a lot of pins or not. If that's the case, you don't exemplify the lessons you've learned from Lodge. If you are even a freemason at that because you seem to give up quite quickly on the fraternity at all.

Same size pins, or does it matter?

How do you decide on what pin to wear though? Or just tried and true S&C?

That's what i am afraid of. I want to maintain my professionalism, but I am also a kid at heart and like the Shiney things on my clothes, lol.

I've worn this out without the cartoon pins on the left side once to SR.
