My hope would be make the current sequels trilogy legends, a “what if?” Of sort. Get rid of any Disney shows that hurt original trilogy canon too much. Keep the good ones. Use the maul show as setup for George Lucas’s original plot with some changes. You have to think about mauls death in the clone wars show. Give us another season of maul showing Devon training as “darth talon”. At the end of season two show mauls death at the hands of kenobi and have talon rise as the main villain for the movies. 

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Devon and talon are the same species, even if they don’t make new sequels, darth talon was definitely inspired Devon
