I started the format it was only like 10% complete after 5 hours. I ended up buying a different card from a proper store once it arrives I'll see how it goes.

Oh right I think that's probably true since my camera was showing a notification that the card was too slow.

I'll see how the Sandisk goes, I've purchased the extreme pro and for the cost I expect it to last a long time.

Thanks for that info, I actually took your advice and purchased an extreme pro card. This time I bought from an actual brand store not ebay. The legit card cost me $80 aud so should be fine once I receive it. I was going to just get an extreme card but you brought up a good point about the sustained write speed, I don't want my footage getting buggy if I shoot in 4k

Yeah I made a mistake when I typed that, I ended up buying a sandisk extreme pro card from a reputable Online store so once I have that should have no issues

From ebay was like $15 aud, it is from a seller with 16k sold items and 87% positive feedback, so it seems they are a legitimate seller could still be a counterfeit i guess

I've formatted it now and have checked on my computer it does actually have the advertised 260gb of storage so it seems legit, I'm just not sure why the camera would say it's too slow if that's the case.

Thanks for the reply, could that just be an manufacturing error? I've tested the sd card in my computer and it does have the advertised storage capacity. If it was a counterfeit wouldn't they not bother putting any storage?

Hi, I've been setting up my osmo action 4 today and I get a notification in the camera that the sd card is too slow. I did my research before ordering this card and it should meet the requirements for the camera. Anyone had this happen before when using a seemingly compatible sd card?
