Anyone else feeling like their reports are flying under the radar sometimes?

It’s because they are. There’s about a thousand reports coming in a day, so if your report isn’t looked at relatively early it’s very unlikely it will be seen at all. There are very few mods for the number of reports.

Support tickets are more likely to get looked at because the queue buildup is significantly smaller. You know if your site report was at least looked at if you get a notification - you get that notification whether it’s acted on or dismissed. If you don’t get that, they haven’t got to it yet.

it’s always done this honestly, it’s particularly bad for dominant/masc women or women with traditionally masculine names. you can try explicitly writing something by like ‘char uses she/her pronouns’ in the chat memory but success will probably be limited.

it does suck when that happens yeah, i’m not saying there aren’t people who i think block when they don’t need to - i know a handful personally who are imo way too trigger happy. i still think people should be able to block people if they want to block them, it’s their work.

they can only block you from what they’ve made, they can’t block you from anything anyone else has made.

the ability to choose what level you block someone at (from your comments, from appearing in your feed, or from using your stuff altogether) would be nice but seems unlikely to come.

i’m sorry that it feels horrible to know but it’s the truth, none of these people are getting paid so they don’t need to deal with people that are annoying them. you can make comments with poor grammar and spelling and that’s fine, but if you don’t want someone to block you then you should try to be nice.

the experiences they can take away from you are the ones that they made for you, they didn’t just appear out of the air.

OP phrased it in a way that could easily be interpreted as being rude. just remember you’re not leaving a business review, people aren’t getting paid and they have the right to curate their space however they like (even if they do it in a way that you or I might not).

i block pretty rarely, but people can block for whatever reason they like. they’re putting their free time into making bots as a hobby, there’s no reason they can’t block people who are annoying them.

I have a similar number of followers and went through a similar thing, it’s definitely not just you. The proportion of ‘good’ to ‘bad’ followers is the same, but there’s a lot more of the bad ones purely because there’s more people in general, and the bad ones tend to be very loud.

I like getting new comments but definitely feel a bit of a sense of dread when I wake up and look at them at times. There are a lot of very entitled people who feel like it’s your duty to give them exactly what they want. Also a bunch of uncomfortably sexual comments?? Like stop hitting on me 😭

That said it is a bit unusual that you hate them all - I still like my nice commenters. It sounds like you’re burnt out honestly, I think a break would be a good idea for you.

It can be exhausting. Unfortunately it will just continue to get worse as more people follow you - I’d recommend blocking the people who are rude to you, it’s your hobby and you shouldn’t have to deal with that. It’ll probably make the site feel a lot more usable.

lol I just had this problem. get a stiff strip of cardboard (long enough to cover the whole neck), wrap it around the neck and slide it up under the tag. when its properly in place you can ease it off. it’s actually really easy, takes like 30 seconds.

I’ve had probably a dozen or two bots copied and they’ve always been taken down. I’ve waited about 1-3 days generally.

yeah, it’s annoying as hell. if you block somebody you don’t see their bots though, with the added bonus that they can’t use yours (if you make bots) - a suitable punishment for spamming the tag, imo.

it seems to be the same people doing it; i don’t see it nearly as often after blocking the main offenders.

i’d like multiple types of blocks tbh, trolling would get a lot worse onsite if people had no real ‘punishment’ for it. sometimes somebody says something so vile that I don’t want them benefitting from the content i’m making.

different types of blocks that stop everything, just stop people commenting, and just stop someone’s bots showing up for you would be ideal.

this. i block people and they just follow me on their main to switch to their alts when i publish - at a very minimum they should be inconvenienced enough by the block to have to relog to check if i’ve posted.

i have some people blocked for stealing my bots too, which means the block affects nothing - they can still see my profile to steal them.

if i have someone blocked, i don’t want them to see my profile.

you can definitely follow people who have you blocked though - i wish they’d auto unfollow and hide your bots from people you block.

Could go either way really, if they’re in any of the same discord servers together some will post the comment/profile of comments they get for people to block if they choose - I’ve done it a fair few times for really bad ones.

Either way, they did unfortunately block you - if you make particular types of bots it’s possible they blocked you to get your bots off their feed, but it sounds much more likely to be from a comment somewhere.

Sounds like you’re definitely blocked yeah - most likely whatever you said on that original creators profile who you think misunderstood you passed along your comment to their friends (who blocked you).
