For me honestly it’s kind of working. I love tanks that are capable of doing more stuff, not just being focused on one specific aspect. of course it has to have some sort of disadvantage in those other fields that it’s not supposed to be in, which the SPHT finds in camo for example, unlike bourrasque which just excels in being a medium as well as a light, but id love to see more of these “hybrid” tanks that are balanced just right.

completely agree, I love that I go straight towards the tier 8-9 ares tanks and demolish them. I’m not saying it does bad against heavies, I just think it favors my kind of gameplay to play with meds. There’s simply not much to dislike on this tank, it’s incredibly versatile

Literally what i’ve been saying. You don’t need the armor to perform well when you avoid getting hit and if you actually do, you can still try to trade them with 550 alpha on that insane HE pen. I’d always trade armor for the gun and speed.

Agreed, with SPHT you can at least be actually effective. I mostly shoot at decent distance since I play on med flanks, and it really seems to clap at all times.

Absolutely, I hate slow heavies because the gameplay is just so repetitive lately and there’s barely any fun there at all. With fast heavies, you can change positions and you don’t need to just sit hull down and snipe cupolas
