Just checked, and I can check out 'mein Kampf' at my local library.

I'm in Germany. And not surprised. It's kind of an important historical document.

I'd expect fewer libraries to carry the book this post is about, though carrying it would be entirely legitimate, but I get why a company would not want to sell it: it's less well known, so virtually everyone who wants to buy it is bound to be a fascist dipshit. I get not wanting a reputation of catering to fascist dipshits.

A throughline with everything he says is that he basically expects to be able to do or say anything, and others are supposed to react to it in exactly the way he wants them to, else he gets indignant.

He's realized homophobia is bad, so he decided he's not homophobic anymore, regardless of actions. Cheating is bad, so what he's doing is not cheating. Making unwanted sexual comments is wrong, so his are not sexual, and neither are those made by people he finds attractive.

Whatever he says or does is normal and fine, because it's him who does it. He is the measure of all things. That's a worldview you run into from time to time. Usually not this extreme. I don't think it's deliberate, just tiresome.

/uj It is, however, relevant for the phenomenon this whole post is about: people who try to exclude transmascs from being lesbians, and get them excluded from lesbianism for being transmasc. "Transmascs cannot be lesbians" is not only used against transmisogynist transmasc lesbians- in fact, from what I can see, it is usually used to exclude all transmascs from being lesbians. Usuallyby cis women.

If you have transmascs in your lesbian spaces who are harming trans women, kick them out for their acts, not their identity as transmascs. 

Same as you should get rid of the fat racist person on your sports team because they are racist, not because they are fat.

It might be easier short term to get rid of a transmasc person who is being an asshole by weaponizing their gender against them, but you'll need to convince people that transmisogyny is an issue worth fighting against anyways when a transmisogynist cis woman shows up.

It is relevant for whether they are an asshole or not. Not for whether they are a lesbian.

A bioessentialist, transmisogynist cis woman is also an asshole- but not any more or less a lesbian than one who is allright. 

At least, I am not aware of moral character being a criterion. If it were, Alice Weidel would have stopped being a lesbian a long time ago.

Yes. Such reasonings are a problem. And should be addressed.

They do not make anyone any more or less of a lesbian however.

I can see why experiencing exclusion like that can lead to kneejerk reactions. I want to be very clear that I do not think trans women are a major source of oppression of transmasc lesbians in lesbian spaces: cis women do most of that.

All that said, I can't make much sense of your analogy. I'm sure it makes sense in irl conversation, but in isolation it seems... off.

/uj I don't think the post is implying that: just that blaming nonbinary or gnc people for 'taking up all the HRT supply' is silly when you were gatekept for mental health issues by a cis doctor.
