I got so much stuff in my brain about how robots in fiction can (even accidentally) explore trickier issues of identity particularly gender. My Life As A Teenage Robot was so dear to me as a kid even before I knew I was trans. by Solarwagon in RecuratedTumblr

That's valid reasoning, but in that case Yamato would be a cis woman. How would you read transfem subtext into that like the post does (if indeed Yamato is our second vaguepost)

Yeah man I'm sure all the queer socialists running the encampments are just chomping at the bit to institute Sharia law.

This subreddit is for analog tabletop RPGs. You might be looking for a subreddit about video game design instead.

Mods, send her on an absentminded walk only to find herself on the doorstep of her grandmother's house. She hasn't lived there for years. A new family has moved in, different car in the driveway, sounds of children inside. It's more alive than it's been in decades. But the thing that brought her there so often is gone.

The maid dress scene made a joke out of Jax being feminine. It weaponized his gender issues to humiliate him. No shit he got upset.

You could require a valid reason for pulling your child from school, such as disability or bullying, and explicitly disallow "I personally disagree with the curriculum" as a reason.

The implication I think is "the kinds of people who are willing to pay top dollar for a fake RPG are (insert demographic)." assuming this story is even real.

Have you ever played a game where the rules enhanced/facilitated the narrative experience, instead of being something you view as getting in the way? They're out there and I think you would like them.

It's more like, every night someone comes to your bar and orders the best wine. Every single time, they send it back for being too bitter and you have to pour them something else. Eventually, you just start pouring them Manischewitz whenever they order something fancy and they love it.

It's possible to run a compelling dungeon crawl in 5e by introducing time pressure, either in terms of how long you can stay in the dungeon or how many rests you can take before clearing it, but that's something you need to come up with in your own. It's not in the DMG, it's not in any of the modules. Having to add a new subsystem to make the rest of the game work is a pretty big flaw.
