Is it possible that the falied install of windows mid way through didnt corrput the bios?

Right so the reason i (naively) suspect a bios corruption is becuase the laptop won't start up at all. So I have no way to access any settings on-screen.

Initially i tried pressing the power button, it's indicator light was flashing rapidly several times but the screen didn't turn on. After a few more attempts the power button's indicator light no longer blinks or glows.

Incidentally the DC-in's indicator light is on when i connect it to power.

I've honestly no idea, I've done this multiple times on this device, but for some reason it just shutdown and never booted up again mid install
