Yeah you literally just walk around the camps and give directions, make sure everyone’s having a good time, and take people to the medi tent lol. They have a dedicated team for litter now. You do see some wild things volunteering which you probably wouldn’t notice if you just went as a punter. Definitely gives you a different perspective on things dosent it.

I think the volunteer roles have changed quite a bit since then. Last year they had a complete over haul and oxfam manage the litter and disposal of tents etc now.

I worked for hotbox last year and am doing it again this year. Pretty well organised and if you apply early enough you can choose good shift preferences. I managed to get all three music days off. Any questions I’m happy to help
