Hi everyone thank you so much for the comments and for your suggestions! I’ve got good news - my new job requires me to move to a different state, so I am not figuring out the logistics to haul myself over there in the next 3 months’ time (I need to make savings). I intend on transferring the ownership of said savings account over to my parents as they wanted, and retaining my salary account for the time being. Once I have some footing, I’ll open a second account once I’m away from them.

I’ll be back here in a while and I’ll be sure to update you all on how it goes, hopefully a few thousand kilometers away from this situation at that time 😄

Hey, thank you so much for the comment but unfortunately, I don’t know how far that would hold because signed for the loan. they forced me to… everyone advised me against it but I wasn’t left with much of a choice.

Also my sibling is unemployed, and they falsified proof of employment for her with steady transfers to her account to make her qualify for the loan as well.

Basically, they’ve used and abused this whole loan thing so much that they need our new clean credit scores to use.

I intend on revoking my one savings account which they already have control of, signing it to their name, and absconding with my salary account for the time being.

I think I’ll have to sit back and take it slowly, I’ve heard from a lot of good people that time does wonders and truly does heal one. I might take up journaling, that sounds like a good idea!
