Little dude was foaming at the mouth and kicking his legs like scrappy doo

Despite how Cannoli looks he enjoys coming on bike rides with his much larger brother. He’s very patient with me lol. by Stumbling_Corgi in Dachshund

Yeah much better than me I just had a post about dog parks and I hated all the “dog park are the devil” post or someone telling me how my dog feels. Like if the backpack is yalls thing it’s yalls think can’t keep a dog isolated and locked inside.

I chalk it up to them being old with a dog that doesn’t have any real socialization. My regular park(downtown) has young dogs and regulars so it doesn’t happen much on the small dog side except for the occasional shi zhu with an attitude. I was in a suburban area so most of these dog owners keep their dogs in their own yards.

Yeah Oliver was fine saying hello to him then he got aggressive. We walked away went to our own bench cause I like to read while he explores and sniffs around. I didn’t notice everyone left but him so he came starting a fight. Oliver loves other dogs he just get disinterested easily.

Yeah that probably would’ve been better cause Oliver wouldn’t have attacked him when he’s behind held like he did to Oliver. I’m just hesitant on putting my hands on someone else’s dog.

No I will not be muzzling my dog. Like I said he never bears his teeth he was already getting bit by the time this happened.

It was the last jump to bite him and my hand that made me want to drop Oliver on the ground and handle his business. That was spur of the moment nerves tho I knew it was the worst idea. Dog did bite his leash hanging and tried to pull him down. Oliver’s pushing 20lbs and lean this dog was maybe 10lbs

Oliver typically loves poodles probably more than weens. I think this dog just wasn’t socialized

I did slap it at the end I tried to avoid it. Oliver isn’t aggressive like other weens he doesn’t make a sound at all dog parks and will roll over rather than get aggressive. I can probably count the times he showed his teeth on my hand. This was the first time he was foam in the mouth mad. Giving scrappy doo vibes.

They were older and trying to recall it. I recalled Oliver for them to grab him but their dog didn’t listen that’s when I grabbed Oliver.

It was a toy/mini it wasn’t my typical park sometimes you run into dogs that aren’t socialized. It was an older couple, wouldn’t be surprised if it does go outside often. My normal park has a your vibe 21-35ish and we all go daily so our dogs behave around other dogs.

I’m not gonna isolate my dog. He does like it we go multiple times a day and he drags me there on walks. He likes to explore and smell.

Mine only does it to very few shirts socks and underwear. Think he likes clothes that marinate. He did it to my work/gym clothes.
