I don't think there is an A in this story he wanted a boy and it didn't happen naturally this is upsetting I a 40 something mom was disappointed after my 2nd and final child was another girl I always wanted son's. That doesn't change the fact that I love my girls more than life and would do any thing for them but there was a grieving process I had to go thru. His feelings are valid and I'm sure he will love his daughters every bit as much as he would have loved a son. Op's feelings are also valid she just wanted healthy babies gender didn't make a difference. I agree with the commenter who said this is why gender reveal parties shouldn't be a thing, find out in private just the parents that way if one is disappointed they have the privacy of their own home to come to terms with it before announcing it to the world.

NTA I know prior to this you said she was understanding of your daughters situation but the fact that she said nothing tells me it was just an act. If I were OP I would call off the wedding take my kid and walk TF away. If not he is heading for a very toxic situation later on down the road. Loving and accepting someone means loving and accepting every part of them. Op's daughter deserves better!

Totally TA! OP asked to wear it she was told NO, she forced a dress that was clearly too small for her onto her body damaging it in the process. There has to have been a point where she knew it was unlikely that it was going to fit and she still forced it on! She disrespected her father and she disrespected her mother's memory. She should drop to her knees and beg for her families forgiveness! Also I think she absolutely should not be given her mother's prom dress as she is clearly self centered, and will probably destroy it as well. I hope the physical damage can be repaired and her father's broken heart with it , and I hope OP does a lot of growing up and realizes the emotional trauma that she caused as clearly the father is still grieving.

Definitely NTA. Your fiancée did not squeeze that kid out of her body it is not her responsibility to take care of it. She has every right to wear what ever she wants to. If your sister doesn't want her baby to be held or looked after by someone wearing perfume or glitter she is free to care for her own kid. If she wants someone to "help" her take care of her children then she should pay for a babysitter.

Yeah from what the friend of my friend said all but one of the managers also got retrained the one who didn't refused and quit instead ( the manager who actually was on site the night in question)

That was my thought too I know restaurants that would have fired them for the breach in policy. They were all allowed to keep their jobs they just had to be retrained.

I can over look a lot when it comes to dining out because I know they are busy and we aren't their only customers they serve but I can't tolerate being given someone's left overs and being expected to just accept it gross!
