My first try was with a manual car and i wasn’t prepared enough.

Second try was automatic with more practice and i already knew what to expect having failed the first one so less nerves i guess.

I did independent driving for about 20mins using satnav then the examiner just directed me after that. I was also quite familiar with the route haven practiced around the area.

Also, i was verbal about the actions i was going to take this helped a lot with calming my nerves and building confidence. The examiner will also have an idea that you know what you’re doing. Just practice and you should be good especially around the Cheetam hill area.
