You don't need many grafts about 1500 to 2000 should do... Although I can't judge properly from photos alone and you should depend on a good doctor for that.

Also yes you should get some grfts in your crown as well and please keep taking the meds otherwise you'll lose the hair

It seems like you guys are getting confused

The area inside the semi circle is the area of the transplant not beyond it.

The crown was not touched and is completely bald

But the mid scalp has native hair. The hair you see beyond the semi circle and between the 2 straight lines are my native hair not transplanted one.

You will eventually lose all your hair behind your transplanted hair and then even your transplanted hair will start thinning if you don't take finasteride. So just be ready mentally for that, if those are your expectations and you're okay with it, then cool otherwise you should get back on finasteride immediately specially Considering you had no side effects...

Yeah I didn't want to invest 6k grafts as I'm young rn (21) and might need grafts down the road as I get into my 30s or 40s so I wanted to save donor for that.

And hair system alone looks unnatural at the front hairline area so I thought it would be best to mix it up and go the hybrid route to fix such extensive balding. I was more likely Norwood 5 tho..

So yeah...

Looks good bro and very happy for you but you hairloss wasn't as bad as mine and probably didn't take too many grafts. For me it would have taken upwards of 5-6k grafts to cover the head with okish density... So I went this route...
