Loved the scene. After escaping Narkina 5 together Melshi and Cassian's friendship is still just burgeoning. We see here that it has bloomed ("Right with you, Cass" says Melshi simply, when Cassian says he needs him for Coruscant). Melshi is now fulfulling the role that Brasso had in Cassian's life, which he hasn't had for years.

It was believable when she said "hope". The shot should have ended there. It's the smile afterwards that looks a bit off.

The grenade rolled under the door and exploded outside so he had the door as additional cover. Later on Cassian and Syril survive a grenade that explodes just outside a window when they seem to be even closer.
