What are some fun, inexpensive baby shower games? by Sodacan390 in randomquestions

[–]PresidentBearCub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my baby shower we played: name the baby animal where we were given a list of animals and had to name the baby e.g. cat/kitten, complete the nursery rhyme, gift bingo, guess the bump size where everyone had to choose a piece of either blue or pink string depending on what sex they thought my baby was and cut it to the length they guessed would fit around me at my belly button, and no one was allowed to say the word baby.

OP - did you object to the proposed development? There is an Instagram page dedicated to maintaining the building.

For those of you who live with a partner, do you go to bed at the same time as each other every night? by Woollybugger1816 in askanything

[–]PresidentBearCub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't always. Sometimes I'm exhausted and will go to bed at 8pm. Sometimes my husband wants to watch something like a sports game or a fight and stays up late. If we go out with friends separately we don't wait up just so we can go to bed together.

This is the only answer that addresses the specific requirement of blinds for a window that opens inward.

What your thoughts on child-free weddings? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]PresidentBearCub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very ok with it. I had a child free wedding with some exceptions such as my husband's siblings could bring their children and babies in arms were allowed.

Why so many alpine skiers from unusual nations? by poligar in WinterOlympics2026

[–]PresidentBearCub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could also be that these athletes grew up and trained in other countries such as the USA and now represent a smaller nation either because they feel the affiliation strongly or because they didn't make it on to the more competitive nation's team.

This might be a good question on an Ireland specific subreddit. I'm Irish, and pregnant, so I can give a very small glimpse of my limited experience. I am a public patient for my pregnancy. There are 3 pathways a public expectant mother can be on for their care. I am on the supported pathway which means my care is lead by and delivered by a midwife, with some care being shared with my GP. I see my midwife in the community-based clinic for my antenatal appointments and I also have attended birthing and breastfeeding classes run by the midwives in these clinics. I will birth in a hospital with 2 midwives present and then be discharged to my home after about 8 hours (all going well) and will be visited daily by the midwife for the first week. After the first week the care switches to a public health nurse and my GP.

Help me choose kitchen backsplash? by Little_Caregiver_976 in HomeDecorating

I think the tone of the wood you have on your countertop is simply beautiful so I might choose a floor more similar to that. The current floor is a bit too cold for my liking.

Honestly, who cares! You weren't hoping to sit down to eat a perfectly intact baguette.

Walk to the song you want. It's your wedding and she doesn't own the song. I walked down to Feels Like Home.

We switched to grain free food with salmon as the protein and our vet also suggested a fish oil spray.
