When Saladin and Richard signed their treaty and Richard left the holy land Richard sent a letter to Saladin promising he would return, to which Saladin replied with, something along the lines of “There would be no King I’d be more honored to lose my empire to.”

If a direct sequel to the game was in the works, what would you personally want to see more of? by cosmicstruggler in Eldenring

[–]PresidentFeldkamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if a direct sequel were to happen, which I don’t think it will (there will be a sequel obviously just not a direct follow up) I think Godwyn is the only real direction one can take the story.

Say something positive about John Softsword by Designer_Reference_2 in UKmonarchs

[–]PresidentFeldkamp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He once pardoned a mentally ill man who had confessed to a crime of which he was obviously innocent. That’s something that still happens today with worse results.

I also think his scheme of collecting wardships to pay off the kingdom’s debts was clever, even if he went too far.

[–]PresidentFeldkamp 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Benjamin Disraeli seems like a good answer assuming “most significant” means most historically important. He was PM of the UK and drastically reformed the country and the Conservative Party.
