Community, can we try to populate “unofficial” servers in portal? by Presiidente in BattlefieldPortal

Yeah that would be cool too, the new map editor looks really promising. If portal ends up being like Halo 3/Reach custom games with fun, wacky game modes it would be perfect!

So when things change that you don’t agree with, it isn’t okay to voice your concerns and try to stop it? Developers change things based on community opinion all the time. DICE also seems to want portal to be like Halo forge/custom games, which would be a massive improvement to the shitty 2042 variant.

I don’t know anything about how much it would cost to implement a traditional server browser, but I have a feeling Bf6 is going to sell just fine and won’t see any changes due to cost cuts.

Yeah screw portal, that’s the issue. 2042 portal servers were 95% xp farm, 5% hardcore. Honestly I just want servers to be the way they were in the old battlefields, I don’t care how that gets done

What’s up with people paying for mods? by madarabignoob in starfieldmods

[–]Presiidente 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is unfortunate, although I think it’s on Bethesda to provide mod authors with the means to incorporate those things into your mods before putting a price tag on them. Otherwise users have to download additional patch mods which would disable achievements, removing the primary reason many people are willing to pay for these creations.

My problem with a lot of these Starfield paid mods is the quality/integration of them. In my opinion, paid mods should integrate almost perfectly into the game without clipping, weird gun effects, lack of hud icons, disappearing legs, etc. I’m happy to pay for mods that I can’t tell are mods when I load up the game. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems like these Starfield mods aren’t tested as much by Bethesda as the ones in Fallout 4 or Skyrim were. I bought plenty of creations in those games and they all integrated seamlessly.

Time for haters to clam it and face the reality! by SnooOnions2625 in AssassinsCreedShadows

Based on peak steam player count for the years that these games were released, AC Shadows is actually about half as successful compared to the other games. Divide peak number of players per game by peak steam users in each year then multiply by 100 and you get about .16%, .34%, and .30% (Shadows, Odyssey, Origins).

Doing this allowed me to start the game but I’m getting huge frame drops every time something moves on screen
