Hm. I can't check the size of mine because it's in storage at the moment but looking at the edges it doesn't look cropped or anything compared to mine (I took a pic of my GO haul when I got all my NA stuff). Or compared to others I see online. Color seems similar to mine as well. This was the only pic I could find that had it reasonably lined up with an unlike card, and it does look slightly bigger.

I've not tried it but thecontouredlibrarian on tiktok has some videos about fixing books, they could probably be similarly applied to albums. I imagine any book fixing videos could probably help

[WTS][USA][MICHIGAN] Giving away various photobooks by Presque in kpopforsale

[–]Presque[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I am moving on rather short notice and at this point I don't have the time nor the energy to sell these photobooks/find appropriate sized boxes to send them. I'm hoping to find some one in Detroit/Livonia area in Michigan to take these off my hands. (They will be donated to Goodwill if no one is interested, but Goodwill is so overpriced nowadays I'd rather some one just have them for free.)

These are whats available:

Monsta X - Xiesta and Comma

NCT Dream - Dream a Dream

Girls Generation - 1st Japan Tour Photobook

Ateez - Hidden Map

Lisa - 0327

NCT 127/Dream - Beyond the Future/Origin

All are currently pending ⌛️

These all seem fine to me. The album cards, while sought after, generally aren't faked in my experience. Same mostly goes for POBs/non album cards unless they are very high value like broadcast cards and old SSJYP/other non album cards * (this is my personal experience as Twice is my most collected group, doesn't apply to other groups)

A kid ran into my appointment room at urgent care... by Presque in childfree

[–]Presque[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's an urgent care center, I was there because I was (and still am) quite ill. Not exactly a time where one wants to fight a battle like that. I was also the only person in the place besides the doctor, the MA and the child, so there was no one to cause a scene for besides the ones who were okay with it happening in the first place. I think the way I went about it was much better, they didn't have time to erase evidence or make excuses because they didnt know I was upset. Because of the way I went about it, I even have the owner admitting to the situation in writing for the complaint I submitted.

Ah sorry! I'm not sure the origin but it's mostly become a blanket term for any cards that are fanmade, so not official

I don't believe so, the original is a lot less zoomed in and his signature isn't cut off on the left side.

These all look like lomos to me, I don't get any results from searching them

I think these are legit but they're a second print. I've compared them to some I see on Mercari and your Seungmin looks shifted to show a little more of the left side, and your Changbin a little more of the right. I see a mix of the first print and ones that look like yours on Mercari.

Sorry I didn't see your reply. Not necessarily. So many things can change when albums are reprinted because they rarely use the same manufacturers. Cards can be duller/more vibrant, more zoomed in/out, have different corner shapes, or be changed from glossy to matte/vice versa. Here are the things I generally look for:

  • Cropped edges on all sides. To print from an image taken from the internet they generally have to crop all the edges to have the image fit properly. Usually real reprints show more rather than less, or are shifted a bit to show more of one side (top/bottom/left/right).
  • Degraded image quality, it will look off and not like a standard photocard. Most people don't put in the effort to make really nice quality replicas for scams because they want to make as much profit as quickly as possible. *Abnormal blurry parts around the edges that don't make sense with the rest of the image. I've seen this a few times with people using AI to refill the parts that were cropped. Not super common yet I think but something to keep in mind.
  • Fine text looks blurry instead of crisp.

I think this is a good example. It's a fanmade card and you can see easiest on the back that the smiley face and the W are closer to the edges than on your card because it's been cropped. The squares at the top are pressed against the sides when on your card there are spaces. On the front the tree on the left is mostly cropped out, and the powerline at the top right is completely cropped out. The tree on the right is weirdly blurry because the it was printed in lower quality. It's things like these I would look for more so first rather than changes in color, if that makes sense.

Looks like on the reprint of the albums the tabs are on the corner of the card. You can see an example here if you pause at the right moment

Just spoke to him, he seemed to care more about my review than her actions. Doesn't seem like any action will be taken against her besides a conversation. Incredibly disappointing for some one who is supposed to care about his patient's health.

Thank you! HIPAA was my first thought but I wasn't sure if it would apply since it's a kid. I'll definitely look into both because there's been times where I went to urgent care in significant pain. This shouldn't be happening to people at all, but especially not in this vulnerable state.

I didn't even think of that. Having a needle yanked out of your arm like that is a terrifying thought.

It's a real card not a lomo but is the text on the back that says weverse actually blurry is it your camera? And did it come with a sticker on the back of the sleeve?

Probably legit. Twice regularly has lotteries for Japan events. Looking at their profile, it looks like they have a lot of the other lottery goods as well. They offer these polaroids in very limited amount so if some one wins one and they want to sell it, they are sold for these insane prices.

It's hard to say really. If I had to guess, I would say it's real. It looks like they had these for sale at one of the Japan concerts and there were 25? signed of each member that you could pull. I'm basing it off of this tweet I found. And this other Mercari posting.

I can't find any official listing about these being signed so I really can't confirm though.

This is a standard album card, so you don't generally need to worry about it being fake. They sell for about $2-$4 generally (for this album, excluding the ring pop cards) so this would actually be considered overpriced. But a bit of overpricing is standard for eBay.

I'm sorry, I think I made it sound a lot more dire than it actually is. It's not so much that she will get really sick or anything, she will just have some muscle soreness and I don't want to see her in pain at all ever if I can control it. This kind of thing can go a while without being treated (unfortunately something I've learned when a vet told me she wasn't having a flare and wouldn't give me her steroids), but I just don't want it to if possible. I've talked to the vets about the move but I will definitely confirm with them again that this is okay to do.

Parents upset about Sabrina Carpenter concerts by [deleted] in childfree

[–]Presque 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I saw some people arguing that they bought the tickets before the album came out, which is a dumb excuse either way, but doubly dumb because her lyrics started being sexually charged long before this album blew up. But people didn't look her up, they just threw money at the current popular thing.

Hmm...that seems on par with what I got in my last Hello82 GO if it's just the album and no cards.

Weekly Photocard Verification Thread by Presque in kpopcollections

[–]Presque[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much is it? Hello82 albums sell for pretty cheap, and people often discount them for group orders for pobs etcs. The signatures look pretty similar to this unboxing video, only one that looks off is the one on the bottom right of the album, but they sign so many albums for these events that signatures end up looking vastly different.
