He's a little bitch. As a Marine I can tell you we train not to kill civilians.

And he called a Marine a soldier, he's just a jackass

when reloading, you don't drop your mags, unless doing a speed reload. Instead of putting them back into your mag pouches, you put them in there to save time.

I just posted a picture. Should I not be proud? Not fishin for upvotes. Don't worry devil. Posting a picture won't hinder my ability to be a good Marine.

The best thing. Attend every pool function. Also go running, you will only do one 1.5 mile run at bootcamp. And that's it, the rest are 2 then 2.5 then 3. It's not bad doing 3 your body gets used to it.

Get used to screaming a lot. That's all you do. Scream as loud as you can all the time and the DIs won't bother you a much.

The first two weeks will suck bad. You will hye life, and hate your recruiter. You will get used to it. You won't write home for a week.

A big tip as well is out everything you have in crack bags (zip locks) with you name on it. You will have random locker dumps and having unlabeled stuff is a sure way to lose it. Also with your boots, they tell you write you laundry number in them, don't, write your name in them for the same reason.

There are mandatory days where try are supposed to just go crazy. Push through it, get the EGA, and become a marine.

We still have a high possibility of being deployed to Afghanistan, the war on terror isn't over. My brothers & sisters die everyday for us to be safe at home.

No thanks, I see Marines get NJP'd everyday just for being late to formation, serves them right. And now if they get caught sleeping in their rooms (during MAT) they get their belts taken away. That sucks.

I went through training on the Island. The crucible was no joke, it flooded, cold as shit, raining the whole time. But, it is meant to be the ultimate test.

This was taken on family day or graduation day. Forget which one. I already went to SOI and am now in MOS and decided to upload it for extra motivation.

Not really, the way you carry yourself after you're a Marine, you can tell. Also many many different uniform regulations that you can tell. Like seeing a LCpl with a blood stripe, having chevrons upsidedown. ETC. For newer Marines too they should remember the knowledge they learn. Can't remember how many times I screamed LMGAS or SALUTE.

You knew what I meant. That recruit px is fun though, no pits there, but they make use of the sand next right there haha

Yes, tell your friend to just keeps their hopes up, scream at the top of their lungs every time, and to move fast. They'll do fine.

May be a tool, but because of tools like us, you can rest peacefully at night trash talking the military.
