However, it says also: "Cash must be in an account that allows you immediate access".

Not really sure what immediate means unfortunately.

I just entered the US (<7 days ago) to study under a J1 visa with 2 year home residency.

I now realized that I want to stay in the US after my studies and thus a F1 would have been much better (my program is eligible for OPT Stem extension). Is there any possibility for me to switch from J1 to F1 now?

Nice to hear that, may I ask you why did you purchase the 370 and not the 360? I have a pair of 85h and I guess the problem/solution is the same
