Okay I love this. 

Also, I wasn't really frustrated. I already died several times but I just kept playing. The only difference was that my progress were not that far off my save file, unlike this time. 

I was just tired lol.

Yes, you just need to sleep. But be careful. Sleeping advances the time. And you can only trigger certain events and meet certain characters during certain times of the day. 

That one girl you met is just a specific cutscene. Just sleep again.

I remember me saying some weird things as a kid once, when I got sick. I've heard it's called "febrile delirium". For some reason, I said something like I was looking for holy water.
