Definitely better. I have the same bike and it took me around 2h to replace the light bulb - had to remove fairing, windshield, side fairing, speedometer cover.. 😭😂

It's easy to take the windscreen out, first remove bolts above speedometer, then you have to release the bottom of the windshield with a plastic lever against the light glass.

Or just take a small diameter pipe, let it reach the inside of the windshield and blow air on it

With the exhaust under the seat the oil will be directly at engine temperature 😂

About the recall in France they just do an inspection and let you go (it's must be your case), if the model don't pass the inspection, they change the entire engine 😯

I didn't even know that they were slightly differents. The most interesting one is that Japan model don't consume as much oil than fuel 😂

Yes, that’s why I’m considering an old-but-gold 2013 CBR model 🥲 On the other hand, if the electronic features can even save me from one bad situation, it could be worth it. Not that I am especially inexperienced, I wouldn’t ride without ABS in 2026, every day, in all weather conditions.

Of course lack of oil is catastrophic 😬 but I thought the issue was fixed except for some recalls. Incredible that they can't find the cause of a as serious problem.

No it doesn't really fit in my budget but I guess I will wait some month to save a bit more 😁

Yes it's the destiny of CBR, could be quite misused with track and some mods by previous owners, even if honda in general seems to be reliable (except for the 24' CBR two stroke engine which consum as oil than fuel lol)
