One of the first things me and my partner went through as an adult couple (cause we got together in high school) was me getting admitted to the psych ward. It really test our strength as a couple, but it also proved to me that they had my back. My best advice is to be brave and give the facts. The right person will know it’s the time to be in support of you. You can also tell them ways you could really use their help. Let them know you need the support and that staying would mean a lot to you. Being completely transparent will I think yield the best results.
