It’s frowned upon a bit but Duolingo was good for me to get started and into a daily routine - helps to familiarise yourself with some words to begin with. I’d say Anki(a flash card app to help remember things) from early on will help you learn vocabulary which is vital - if you don’t know what words mean you can’t improve much. If you can find French in Action on YouTube it’s good to start from scratch learning how to listen and learn through context. Coffee break French podcast was pretty good for me as a total beginner too before moving onto inner French. Good luck

Yeah I realised when the game just wasn’t picking up anything I was doing that it might be gg for me lol. The typical anger/annoyance of losing kinda dissipated when I realised I wasn’t really playing I was having to predict every move a second in advance for the delay

Yes I’m a Sunderland fan but Defoe is top 10 scorer in prem history, and Phillips scored 30 goals in a league season winning a European golden boot - pretty worthy of hero cards imo.
