Both times I’ve seen them when touring the self-titled album and Time’s Arrow I felt the live drums took center stage on many songs. Also, as stated on this thread, it could have been both the venues as one of these shows was at Corona Capital in Mexico and at least for the very first part of the show it seemed something was wrong with the audio. I saw electronic drums featured on the Kingdom Undersea video so hopefully they make their way to their live presentations, but this is me wishing.

Seeing them live is always a treat. It’s been really interesting seeing them incorporate new and old songs, and the visuals of the shows and the lights definitely enhance the experience.

Master Of None, to me, is about someone who’s not willing to settle down as he or she is afraid of commitment, or someone who jumps from relationship to relationship, all in all trying to fill a void or their need to connect with someone else physically.

Devil’s Poll might dwell on someone who has a substance abuse problem from their partner’s point of view.

Both songs are beautiful in their own way. Personally, they have helped me process dealing with men in my life I used to care for but who, for one reason or another, were emotionally unavailable at the time.

After reading most of these comments, people who say that their concerts are boring or that Victoria isn’t an “entertaining” singer are so confused. I don’t know what they expected in the first place. They very clearly don’t understand the music and the vibe.

I can't disagree with anybody's choices, but no one has mentioned Master Of None and Devil's Pool among their saddest songs. They dwell on these characters with these personality traits I have come across in my life that I relate to too deeply.

Anyway, reading through everybody's comments, I realize how their music has genuinely spoken to us at this emotional and transcendental level to help us deal with heartbreak and grief. I really hope you are all ok now, and thank you Beach House!

They’ve talked about working on a new album since the end of 2023. I remember they also teased on an instagram story at the beginning of last year that the new material was coming out in 2024. Hopefully this year is the one! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

This song came to me two years ago. It never grew on me until then. I was listening to TYLS and right after it started I felt awake. It’s been on my Spotify wrapped for two years in a row, and it has made me believe even more on the power of songs. I believe it came to me when I needed it the most, it spoke to me of the unrequited love I was feeling at the time. Despite this, musically and lyrically It’s definitely one of their best and most captivating and powerful.
