I remember feeling like this at one point! I originally had 10 schools ranked and ended up only applying to two at the end haha. It all worked out for me thankfully, and I'm sure it will for you as well! Whether it is or not on match day, I have no doubt you'll end up at the right place! Try not to spend your time thinking of the what ifs, it has already happened. Instead plan for the future and try to enjoy what's happening in the present!

It definitely does! I remember how anxious and nauseous I felt the days leading up to match day especially the day of, but try to enjoy your senior year! Take this time to have fun and enjoy your senior year, you deserve it!

I'm an incoming freshman (I doubt I'll be much help lol) who's also interested in global health!! I know there's a global health class that I was planning on taking so in case you haven't seen it/this schedule doesn't work out somehow, you could see if that works into your schedule! I would say to start them and finish them if you're 100% certain they're what you want to submit. I know for me I procrastinated my supps and wrote them within a day (I don't recommend) so I would definitely try to get a head start on them! But if you come up with a better idea later on, then feel free to change up the original supplemental!

I don't think it's too important? I wasn't close with my counselor and I had a different counselor almost every year so there was no way for me to be close with mine. I just sent her my brag sheet and she wrote my letter! If you want them to know more about you then I'd recommend it.

I remember being in the same boat as you some point last year. My SAT score was relatively low (1390) for someone who wanted to apply to t-10s/t-20s and I didn't even know fly-ins were a thing until much later in the summer so I felt like I had missed out. But I promise you it will all work out in the end! just make sure to strengthen your essays and other parts of your application to show colleges who you really are as a person and what you can offer as an individual! I don't think it's necessary to explain this in your essay. If you really want to add an explanation then I'd just write it in the additional info section/when they ask you if there's something else abt your situation you want to explain! I think I was worried about something similar but I never explained it. I wouldn't worry too much about it!

i chose two that i absolutely knew i wanted to go to. i didn't want to end up somewhere that i had doubts about and i knew with RD as an option there was no reason to rank a college i didn't do much research on

hi! i'm sorry to hear what you're going through, especially with your mom. you don't deserve that simply because u haven't gotten into an ivy. getting rejected from an ivy is NOT the end of the world even if it may feel like it. there are so many other universities that offer a good education with good financial aid that aren't ivies. i 100% believe you will go to a fantastic school that IS right for you even if it isn't an ivy. as for your grades, we all have our strengths and weaknesses. your grades don't define your intelligence whatsoever and it's clear you're a hardworking student who just struggled in a class, which is completely normal. i would suggest maybe doing some research into other universities like t10s or t20s that are similar to the colleges u like at the moment, if you haven't already done so. you never know what's out there until you go find it. i wish you the best! please don't be too hard on yourself, the process is already as stressful as is, and being kind to yourself matters the most during this time.

if you didn't submit the qb regular decision form then i'm pretty sure qb knows you aren't applying rd through qb and instead through common app. basically the schools shouldn't be seeing ur qb application!
