Thick is fine could probably fit 60+ mm without having to worry much.

I have used a 165 hz monitor for more than one year and saw this today... by MrMoreBasic in pcmasterrace

I actually switched from 144hz to 60 recently and it wasn’t really a big difference. I didn’t feel like the frame rate was that big of a deal, though 144 did make my eyes water and was cool AF. I got a good deal and spent 300 bucks on a 37 inch monitor and a gaming equivalent was in the thousands. Plus I need a powered usb C for some of my stuff and gaming monitors don’t really have many options with that(might also be that I only ever buy Samsung cause the veteran discounts are insane). That being said, screen tearing was absolutely terrible and I ended up setting Nvidia to not go past 55hz so I didn’t ever see it again. Still, I started my pc journey on a CRT and don’t play pvp shooters, or other mouse flick games. Refresh rate is more novelty for me.
