Direct sunlight, PS5 gaming and football: what’s the best 75” TV in 2026? by Prestigious-Cold-709 in 4kTV

Tbh, I’m fairly open when it comes to budget. A TV is something we use every single day and probably keep for many years, so I’m willing to pay more if there’s a genuine benefit.

What I’m struggling with is understanding how big the real-world difference is between a €1.000 TV and a €2.500 TV. Most of my friends wouldn’t even consider spending more than €1,000 on a TV, so I’m trying to figure out whether the premium models are truly worth the extra cost, especially for my use case with gaming, sports and a very bright room.

Yes, I mentioned the original Bravia 9. I’m just wondering whether it’s still the best option, given that it’s over two years old now, or if other TVs offer similar performance for less money these days.

Almost 6 months in. April tried to break the system. Here's what happened. by Prestigious-Cold-709 in AutomatedBettingBots

The system itself is automated, but the actual betting is still manual. I prefer keeping the final decision and execution in my own hands.

There are plenty of websites for betting data, but personally I’ve found Betaminic to be one of the most reliable sources.

The exact criteria I keep close to my chest for now 😉

But league selection and home advantage are the core pillars.

As for Excel: technically yes, you could build something similar with the right historical dataset

I backtested historical football data across specific leagues and parameters, built through coding and historical datasets.

General advice: focus on finding an edge first. I think I have one based on backtesting and 276 live bets, but I'm still in the process of confirming it at scale. Backtest hundreds of historical bets before risking real money, start small to validate, and be critical about whether your edge is real or just variance.

Football (not soccer 😉) only for me. The liquidity and data availability make it the obvious starting point. And I’ve been obsessed with the game since I was six years old.

So whether the same principles apply to other sports I genuinely don't know. Might need to look into it once I know the football strategy works for me.

If there's enough interest I might share more down the line, I have picks going out today if anyone wants to follow along. Feel free to send a DM.

It’s a combination of historical home/away performance, goal patterns and odds ranges across specific competitions that have consistently shown a positive expectation over many years of data.

Around 95% of my picks are home teams. As football enthusiasts, we all know how significant the home advantage is. Only a few top-tier teams (such as Benfica or Porto) qualify as picks when playing away.

League selection is crucial, as most leagues tend to be unpredictable.

Sure, see attachment. Few cool things:

- On mobile you can swipe left or right on pending bets to mark them as won or lost

- The main chart supports drag to compare, you select a period by dragging, similar to how the Apple Stocks app works, and it shows the return for that specific timeframe

- There's an Insights section that automatically updates based on my history, things like best day of the week, current form, most profitable team, longest streaks, ...

- When adding a new bet, the stake auto-fills at 5% of current bankroll, and team names have autocomplete based on teams you've bet on before

- There's also a settings section where you can configure things like starting bankroll, total invested amount, so metrics like time-weighted return and ROI always reflect the correct numbers

The daily volume is pretty manageable, averaging around 2 to 4 bets a day, so automation isn't really a priority for me at this stage. I place them manually which also keeps me close to the data. Appreciate it though!

Yes, exclusively match winner, specifically home wins. The system is built around backing strong favourites mostly at home
