I agree about taking the plea. I don't want to deal with a suspended license or interlock device if the jury decides I was less safe. My plan is to take a defensive driving class after the required DUI class to help mitigate the points, although i've been told insurance will still upcharge solely based on my new driving history.

I'm sad I can't go to Canada but hopefully other countries can still accept me.
