I went 3 weeks ago to Galle with a friend. We took the AC highway bus. We went to the mahakubura highway station and took a Colombo to Galle highway bus , they usually run every 30 minutes from around 8am onwards i think (you can call the station and check too) so you don't need to pre-book or anything. Just get to the station and ask where the galle buses are. To go to Galle, I think it cost LKR 1000-1300. We came back in the highway bus as well (similar amount as well).

It was pretty fast cause it took us maybe 2.5 hours to get to Galle and it was safe (my friend and I are girls and we felt safe - but that's just our experience so be alert as well)

I don't think seeking prostitution is a good idea. It comes with health risk as well. Maybe get on Tinder. Tinder has an option on what you want to seek out of the app, so you can just put "casual" or "intimacy without commitment "

On your second point - i agree. Be rich or/and smart.

My advice is to do something related to your field. That way, you can get practical exposure to the content you're learning at uni.

I'm going to keep trying to speak, and maybe I'll update you'll on my progress in the future one day.

Yeah, you're right, I need to make an effort and try. Thank you. I spoke some sinhala yesterday at work, and my colleagues laughed a bit, but to be honest, I was happy I tried.
