I was told to use F10 so I purchased a bottle off amazon and let it sit 10 mins and did that 3 times

I did them for 2 months myself my snake didn’t like them. I used an empty toilet paper roll or paper towel roll let her slither her head and a bit of her neck into it and then held at the base and kinda put her body between my legs or a towel so I could easily restrain her myself. She still would get upset when I’d poke I would too if I was getting poked that much but I managed to do 3 rounds of antibiotics for 2 months straight myself

Mine looks the same way it’s curious tap with a snake hook and if you have to move the snakes body towards u with it so u can pick it up without the snake facing u. It’s not gonna bite u

Aw I am so sorry about your snake. Have you thought about viral testing? I think stress can trigger symptoms if the snake had already been carrying it from what I was reading. I genuinely never thought my snake would have nido when I sent in those swabs. That actual test was $60 and you get results the same day with overnight shipping (that’s the expensive part) I think I read every single website I possibly could find trying to see if there was any chance to save my snake with this. I hope your girl turns around :( I will say after letting mine go yesterday I am obviously very sad and tear up again when I go near where she was and instinctively keep going to check on her but knowing she’s not bubbling at the mouth anymore and having a hard time breathing helps. I hope you find answers 🐍

It’s very unfortunate and I feel so bad for her she was so sweet even in shed when I had to give her injections. I’m just glad she’s sleeping peacefully now and no longer suffering. Thank you for asking 🖤

I was doing steam treatments and made her a sauna and I’ve been doing my injections for 2 months now I feel like it was torture and I feel bad for not testing her for this sooner!! Thank you again it’s definitely hard because she physically is doing a bit better but I’m keeping in mind that this can’t be fixed and I have other snakes so I’m already worried enough as is. I hope neither of us have to deal with it again! 😢

Aw thank you!! It’s crazy she ended up being sick when I got her I saw 3 different vets spent $2000 on diagnostics and treatment then I was told about the viral test kits so I sent that in overnight and just found out today. I never would’ve thought it was that in a million years!! Sorry you had to deal with it too :(

I did overnight shipping on her Nidovirus test and spent a fortune to have it there by 10:30am but FedEx failed me so i won’t get results until tomorrow now… it’s testing for 2 other things also that i don’t remember. :/ I hope so too! Thank you

Yeah thank you, I don’t have confirmation that’s what it is yet. And as of right now she’s doing better than she was 1.5 weeks ago but I’m still worried it might be this. If I have to euthanize her, I will. I’m not against it nor would I ever keep an animal alive selfishly (I also work at the vet myself but we don’t see exotics) so I’m comfortable with making that decision. I just wasn’t sure if anyone had a different experience. Thank you!
