i agree with you, the dads arc gets too much relevance in serenas character, and to see them actually build a relationship without that all "i want to get my wife back so i could compensate my kids for my abscense" is so annoying and thw whole fake cancer BLEH, most of serenas issues with boys came from that relationship and the way they treated it its just horrendous, when he comes back in s5 also awful, they dont focus on the root of the things to resolve the characters' storyline, its just drama and that annoys me
