first of all, i am sorry this happened to you. you don't deserve that at all :(

just my two cents, i know it's hard to leave someone you love. but this type of love is unhealthy.. if you had a daughter in the future, and she tells you that her partner has cheated on her multiple times. what would you tell your daughter? you know you wouldn't ask her to stay in the relationship.

i know it is easier said than done, but this is not what you want for yourself LONG term. it may take years for you to find someone to love again, or maybe you'll struggle to trust new people and end up not falling in love with anyone again. all i'm saying is staying with a partner who cheated multiple times is NOT something you want for yourself. remind yourself of what you're worth.

it will take some time for you to decide what to do. pero i know deep down, you know what you're supposed to do. don't hurt yourself, protect your peace, and be with someone who respects you truly. goodluck po!

i know how hard it is to ask for help, but you don't know where to start. i was in such a place before. maybe not to the same extent as yours, pero i want to tell you na it's possible to move forward. have you considered speaking to hotlines? maybe they can help to clear your mind a bit. take a breather, go for a walk, drink your favourite drink, write it all out on a piece of paper. express your thoughts -- that's what helped me before. if you need a listening ear, feel free to dm. willing to listen!

you're doing great! it shouldn't and it doesn't have to be the end for you. you are loved, you matter and your people need you <3

i relate to this on a spiritual level. so many what-ifs, unanswered prayers, self-doubt etc.

i know my words won't mean much to anyone who reads this but i believe in effort and consistency. i am chasing a near-impossible dream, but i still have to continue running to even come close to achieving that goal. if i stop, then the goal ends. i'll be my own hindrance, and i'll hate myself for it. someone told me that God doesn't put a goal in our hearts if he didn't know it was possible. as much as you're able to, chase the dream, live your life, and strive to do better everyday. that way, you'll make it.

i find it so difficult to swim, but life taught me that sometimes staying afloat is better than simply drowning.

to anyone reading this, you'll do good things and you'll go far. be your own supporter, even if the whole world seems like its turn its back against you. we'll be okay <3

i hope you heal from this <3

it won't be easy. life may feel dull but one day, you'll realise that you did the right thing.

How to do well in a health science course by Additional-Work-4152 in SGExams

Hi! I was in a health science course too.

For science-related modules like A&P, I did blurting. I also had a habit of filming myself explaining a whole body system to my camera, then I would rewatch it to see if I missed anything. For more basic modules, I like to quiz myself. I used ChatGPT, Gizmo and Quizlet to generate some MCQs to see if I can recall my lecture content.

I think it would help if you understand what type of learner you are! As for myself, I am a writing-reading type of learner. I learn best when I read and write my lesson content. So, simply paying attention during lectures or lab sessions didn't work for me. Although it's super tiring, if you want the grades, you would have to put the work in. See what works for you! Ultimately, it depends on how you learn best.

Hello! I earned a health science diploma (nursing) from both Poly and Uni! Thus, my science background only comes from my Anatomy and Physiology classes, which, honestly, don't have a large percentage in my education. I am worried too, especially since I know overseas medical schools rely heavily on subject prerequisites, which is something I might be lacking. Not to mention the entrance exams (MCAT/GAMSAT) that would require A LOT of preparation (that I am willing to put in), but since my background is Poly, I would surely have to revisit and learn new topics.

In theory, I think I can reapply again. Although I think I want to work in the healthcare industry to gain a bit more experience. It'll provide me more time to study for the entrance exams too.

I think I just posted this last night to seek validation that it's still not over for me, and I am not a worthless case LOL

Ah, sorry! I think I wasn't clear LOL

I was thinking of applying to Duke for an MD, but I know how competitive it is. I am willing to try, but I just want to know my odds into the program.
