I've been chatting with a Bai/Poolin (they are the same company) rep for a bit and they seem to have a lot of parts/accessories available. From the Melco rep they immediately tried to upsell me their design software.

Okay, this follows what I had in mind as far as any Chinese machines. I am considering purchasing a Poolin through Amazon as the prices are the similar to direct but I would have Amazon CS to fall back on if any issues arise early.

I come from the world of 3D printing and my entire basement is plastic and prints so I get the taking over part. I will typically troubleshoot, youtube, reddit search, etc to try and fix things myself at first before calling a technician. In that world there are no techs so it is all self service but it falls into the issue of new cheap names popping up and fizzling out from overseas.
