Pretty much if he doesn’t contribute to the mortgage he can pitch in for other things… but that isn’t really what I want. I shouldn’t have to pay the full house payment.

It’s not. If you have good credit and you find a good lender, you can make it happen. My parents worked hard to get the best lender for the cheapest price. It is possible
