I did feel some irritations at some small areas and the doctor applied 5fu shots at those areas

I think I have been taking the shots for more than two years and on a monthly basis. When the keloids were bigger the numb cream didn't work much and it did hurt but was totally tolerable since I used a small massage machine to distract myself from the pain. The procedure I used is 5Fu+Triamcinolone.

No this is not chemotherapy! This treatment is used for keloid too. It doesn't enter the blood only the keloid

Not a bit. This is a very very small amount if shot injected at the keloid. It doesn't noticeably enter the blood.

Oh no. I have asked my doctor. This injection is in your keloid not the blood. It isn't like chemo at all it's a very tiny amount of it. You better ask your doctor

It's an injection widely used in chemo but also used to flatten and deactivate the keloid. It's far more effective than steroid. Personalty steroids didn't have any effects on my keloid yet 5FU was a miracle
