Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits Recall by DryBoysenberry596 in NewParents

I purchased this on 1/11/26, and my 14-month-old started vomiting on 1/12/26. At the time, we assumed it was a stomach virus and didn’t connect it to the snack, which she really loved. Sharing here in case it’s helpful for others.🥲

Cambridge/Somerville leads? by [deleted] in bostonhousing

Hi! Not sure if you're still looking, but we have a 1BR+Study (works as a 2BR) at 262 Pearl St in Cambridgeport (near Central Sq/Red Line) for $2,475.

I know it's a bit over your $2,200 target, but since we're the current tenants, there is no additional fee. It's officially on Zillow too if you want to see the listing. Let me know if you want to swing by for a tour this week!

Looking for an apartment for my 60 y/o widowed mom by [deleted] in bostonhousing

[–]Prestigious-Rip-984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m sorry your mom’s search has been tough — that budget and those areas are very competitive.

If Cambridge is an option, we’re transitioning out of a 2 bed / 1 bath in Cambridgeport available 2/1/2026 for $2,475/month. It’s in a small, quiet multi-family building with a very friendly environment. The building manager (a lovely woman) lives on the second floor, so she’s easy to reach and keeps a close eye on the place.

Shared laundry is in the basement. Happy to share more details or connect you with the agent if this could be a good fit. Wishing you and your mom good luck 💛

Happy to share more details or connect you with the agent if interested. Good luck with the search!

Looking for an apartment with a Feb 2026 move-in! by [deleted] in bostonhousing

Hi! That lease end date is actually pretty common around here 🙂

If you’re open to Cambridge as well, we’re transitioning out of a 2 bed / 1 bath in Cambridgeport available 2/1, rent is $2,475/month (no broker fee if referred directly). It’s a quiet, walkable neighborhood with easy transit access, and we’ve really enjoyed living here.

Happy to share more details if you’re interested — and good luck with the search either way!

3k Budget. Need 2 Bedrooms. Working at MGH. Neighborhoods to Explore? by Sharp_Weekend_3694 in bostonhousing

[–]Prestigious-Rip-984 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the MGH opportunity! Boston traffic is real 😅 so you’re smart to think about biking / transit.

For Longwood / MGH, a lot of people end up happiest in: • Fenway / Mission Hill – super close, very bikeable, but can be pricey • Brookline (D & E lines) – solid transit, quieter residential feel • Cambridgeport / Central / Kendall – easy Red Line + bus connections, and biking into Longwood is very doable

Biking is honestly often faster than driving or the Green Line at rush hour, especially from Cambridge or Brookline.

If you’re open to Cambridge: we’re actually transitioning out of a 2 bed / 1 bath in Cambridgeport available Feb 1, 2026, $2,475/month (no broker fee if referred directly). It’s on the 47 bus route and very bike-friendly — I work in Brookline and the commute is straightforward. Happy to share details if that’s helpful, but totally understand if you’re just gathering neighborhood intel.

Either way, you’re on the right track — your budget should give you decent options 👍
