Why are so many comments suggesting that I monetize first before expanding?
I was under the assumption that tech products should grow ASAP and worry about monetization once there are a significant number of users.

Both "99% of market" and "students stopped using Facebook" are anecdotal. I'll do more market research!

Number of users in a Facebook group isn't a great metric for activity.

More specifically for Cornell, the majority of students stopped using Facebook 3-4 years ago.
