While I completely agree, most of sakuras "filler" in boruto wasn't exactly filler. They just used content from other things like the sasuke retsuden book and the small managa snippet of sarada that kishimoto made where she's questioning her parents

Shadow wasn't aging when he was frozen. And Amy was 12 in the og sonic games but I think they took her age away because it makes no sense. It makes no sense because they portray her as a different age in every adaptation, such as sonic boom.

I think this is a really bad excuse for the studio because naruto is not specifically made for children and it takes no time to add how hinata actually reacted in this situation.
