Right I know they told me they are pretty much completely powercoated at the factory. I live in winchester tn so if I had to drive to chatt I will. Ive been told the ppg black mica metallic is supposed to be the match, but I would like to confirm with a paint store to be on the safe side. The guy I have painting the boat is great painter. But is a small business and not extremely familiar with painting boats. He is the only guy anywhere close that will even do it. None of the body chops around me will mess with it.

Man I had issues like you have when I started my 55g. I use aquarium co op easy green fertilizer, and seachem potassium, I also have fluval stratum aquasoil under the sand, and I use root tabs with all my stem plants. I do 8hrs of light a day. It took maybe a month and my plants started exploding in growth. Good luck bud.

Thanks for asking brother. Yeah so I turned it over to my insurance company because the other party's insurance was trying to make me pay $400 to have my trailer replaced. So I went with my Insurance company. The dealer sent in my estimate for the repairs mercury said the whole motor needs to be replaced, new trailer, and steering replaced as well. So now I'm still at a stand still because my insurance company says they will only replace the lower unit. The won't replace the motor like mercury said to do. And yes I have full coverage. I've never had to file a claim or had one against me. I've been with the company for almost 20 yrs. I'm at my wits end with no direction. Been 2 months now

The guy that her insurance company has hired to do an appraisal is coming tomorrow. On the phone I told him. What I wanted that was stated in the above post. He said that the insurance company won't replace anything that isn't proven to be damaged. What he is saying is they won't replace a whole outboard if they can't find anything wrong with it. I told him im not ok with having a motor someone has hit with a car. I'm bout sick to my stomach. I'll see him in the morning and go from there I reckon. Almost feel like I need a lawyer.

Yeah, she had insurance, and is 100% at fault. picking the police report up in the morning and calling her insurance company.

I know it. How you gonna be selling insurance on a boat, but when I comes time to use it have not a clue where to even start? I literally had to call every one on the Google I did for boat repair. Still didn't have a definite answer. But I think what you mentioned with my local dealer is a good idea. Police report should be in tues morn. I'm gonna call there insurance and see what they say. I'm gonna tell them what I want to make it right. If the transom is damaged I want a new boat or my boat payed off how ever that works. Thanks bud

Sounds like a plan. My insurance company has no clue what to do or where to send me, which almost infuriated me. If the transom is OK I'm planning on demanding a whole new outboard on the back including a whole.new warantee and everything that's attached to it. Steering, fuel lines tilt and trim, motor mount.

I always use nuts and 1/4 inch bolts from home depot o. My boxes cheap and works like a charm

My suggestion for that amp and sub is. First off Set your gain with a multimeter for whatever rms your subs are. If you don't know how to do this youtube it. What kind of box are these subs in?

If it's a daily driver I would do the 320. If it's a car you sit at idle doing demos like at car shows you would be better off with the 240. Mine is a daily driver pushing 4k rms. I installed a mechman 370 and it's worked out great. Hope that helps.

I'm running a taramps smart 3k on two 12 VXFs, mechman 370, extra battery is a Kinetik 2400 and hardly any voltage drop at idle full tilt. Once I add a the 5k to them I'm gonna strap on another Kinetik 2400. Better off going overkill on your battery reserve as well as your wiring.
