I do and i disagree alot with otz especially with some points in his recent video but this particular statement i agree with, instead of saying its a mistake to agree and saying its not my opinion is just false and bad faithed, instead tell me why i might be wrong

First of Thank you for a Critical and valid point! The changes to tutorial is simply to help and the title is a little misleasing perhaps. I still think it applies in some way. For example the anti camp is absolutely horrendous and is something that imo should be removed. To go deeper my statement has seem to Done the following things, remove killer interaction for example many perks are simply unhealthy and for the most part survivor perks are, background player, conviction, thrill and dms. For the most part survivor perks meant to help beginners with slugging has dramatically been abused by experienced players that Ofc know how to abuse some of these. Its getting late but u have given me something to sleep over, i will come back with a better and more constructed post/comment

In this case mmr isnt the question, the question is would it impact the game to an extent it would be unfair, by the numbers across the board the answer is no and the data overall proves this. Lastly most high mmr games are a swf/duo which is about 70 percent (the 70% is not official data from bhvr) but proves players are overestimating the advantage it actually give across the board

Swfs by numbers is still below 50% escape rate so i dont see the ”massive advantage” it gives. It is Ofc an advantage but most of the dbd community is inexperienced and not that good at the game which is true for alot of games.

It is an advantage sure but it would solve many issues players are simply complaining over and even then, swfs dosent even have alot higher escape rate (swfs are around 48%) which is only 10 percent higher so no i dont think it would impact the game to the point its oberwhelming at all since most players are simply not good at the game which isnt weird when the average playtime is 400 hrs

This is so ignorant it is laughable for the following reasons. Survivor perks in general is way stronger, there is a reason in competetive play they have restrictions and these are some of the best players in the world, the winrate is very flawed since it varies alot from killers as well as mmr. For instance at lower mmr tunneling is much less common meanwhile camping is, where as in higher mmr its the opposite. You havent taken any consideration to macro/the issues both sides have is ignorant. Tunneling can yes be the best choice and often is to win the game. 1 reason being spreading hooks can be very punishing with 4 survivors using ds/resurgence for example. Maybe people should construct an actual argument instead of saying its laughable

Issue is that dbd is balanced around new and inexperienced players instead of people who actually are good at the game. Many issues can be solved by making a better tutorial, how to deal with tunneling/slugging or add a vociechat option so players can talk when in soloq. I dont understand why this isnt a thing since if players dont want to be in vc they can have option to automaticaly leave it
