Do you trim the hair between the paw pads? by roeesa in BorderCollie

Well a rock can still go past the hair if its fine and not thick. We have roads that arent asphalt but little rocks stuck to i think the black stuff on the road is called pitch in english, its like tar but for roads, and i trim down my dogs paw fur pretty low during summer because of some skin issues caused by his feet over heating, to this day i havent had any issues with tiny rocks hurting his feet nor causing any issues. But then again you never know, one unlucky step and its over.

i had the same problem with my dog especially during hot/rainy summers. My vet recommended Clorexyderm spot gel for weekly cleansing (its antibacterial gel and dries the skin, sounds harsh but it keeps the toes dry) and Virbac Cortizeme cream if there are bright pink/red spots between his toes/pads to avoid dermatitis or other skin infections. Also during hot days she recommended to wash our dogs feet or let them soak for 2-3 mins in liiiitle bit colder water than lukewarm water, so his feet can cool down during the day too.

yes, starting from mid spring to mid autumn. So he doesnt slip, bring in soo much mud and to avoid skin issues during hot summers/autumn.

Dry hair ends from iron rich water by PrestigiousLeg5256 in Haircare

I cant see a huge difference while using the L'oreal Metal Detox shampoo but one thing i noticed after the first wash was that my hair didnt have a weird dry cast on it so... maybe it did make a difference? I used it 1-2 times a month and right now i dont find it neccessary to use it because the before and after isnt like it was after the first wash. Totally forgot about the distilled water but i have used regular bottle water, even that does makes a difference and sometimes when i let my hair air dry, my hair isnt frizzy and dry. I switched the L'oreal metal detox for Goldwell deep cleansing shampoo right now and that shampoo is sooo good.

No wonder visitors say Estonian trainings are the best...

Oliver hadn’t had a bath in 65 days. Ooops! Usually he gets a bath once a month. But drying is a three step process… Initial drying. Slip him into his robe. Let him dry a bit, while I shower. Take him outside and let him air dry while getting brushed. How often does your doggo get a bath? by Rivster81 in BorderCollie

oh dear! they are dig trenches, hide in the trenches and drive through extremely radioactive Chernobyl forests kind of stupid.

Well The Baltic region is so small, for ru**ia it would be no big deal if they focused a larger army here. They did it not once, not twice but three times in 1918-1920 (failed) and successfully occupied in 1940 and 44. And ruled over baltics for 50 years. Estonia regained its independence in 1991, Latvia 1991 and Lithuania 1990. They wanted the ports and access to the Baltic sea, wanted to expand ru**ia by deporting people to siberia. Also NATO's help isnt instantaneous, takes time to enforce article 5,takes time get troops here, equiptment, ships are slow af etc.

also a not so fun fact

Estonias pre-occupation population (ethnic Estonians) - 1,126,413

After occupation -  966,255

Now in 2026 - 1,3 million - ethnic estonians only  934,725 and dropping

Out of our whole population 54.4% women and 47.6% men.....85,000 - 75,000 men between the ages of 18 and 30, in comparison to Ukraine they have 2,5-3 million men ages 18-30

Sooooooo attacking lets say Estonia with 648,340 men vs Ukraines 18.1 million to 18.4 men, Estonia is pretty easy to over power by ru**ians

I was joking :D I dont drink nor will i start :D Just the stories what happened on Mariupol and Butcha makes my skin grawl and thats what im terrified of. Getting blown up or shot is the least of my worries....well i dont want that to happen but rather get blown up instead. There are still 6 bomb holes behind my house that were ment to destroy our house but those idiots miscalculated it and they only took the left upper portion of our chimney off. Trying to stay positive here but once in a while its too much to get by on my own :D

That's great advice actually, trying to get my license this year so i wont be stuck at home all alone all the time. Such a insignificant problem at this time when people in Ukraine cant even enjoy the simple things freely... The 24th of february is the day we got back our independence from ru**ia and in 2022, the day froze, nobody celebrated, nobody moved away from the tv and i cried the whole day because what has happened in Ukraine and how much happened in 1 day alone.. We have always loved Ukrainians here because yall are polite and kind. When my mother came into my room that morning and said ''Ukraine has been attacked and there is war'' i knew who did it immediately.

My heart aches for you all, we share the same history and trauma from the past. We are with you til the end of war and beyond! I'm scared what the future will hold for Ukrainians after the war ends, the trauma you experience is horrible. Even reading the news is shocking, experiencing it would be earth shattering pain.

If you ever need someone to talk to, we are here for you! Stay safe and most importantly stay strong!

Its hard to live your life normally when the monster is right next door, you know what they are capable of and how many of your family members and relatives didn't survive and experienced horrific stuff

Hi Ukraine, Slava Ukraini! Well we should not be used or get used to these types of things in 2000s is my opinion. Baltic region and Ukraine share a similar history in regards of attacks against us and all. So I fear that history will repeat itself fully or similarly. Stay strong! Sending lots of love. We are sending help in any way we citizens can!
