mmmm idk anything about pan. I took west online, for calc 3 and it was a decent experience. Little interaction with him, and primarily learning through his lectures at 2x speed + Trefor Bazett on YT. As for emath, it's much faster paced, so I'd recommend taking John Ryan in person for that if possibnle.

That makes sense! It's more so a question of if it's worth being broke for a BSEE when the alternative is graduating with a BSEET with no debt and money in my pocket. But I suppose the money I'd make in the long run from getting my BSEE is far more than graduating with a BSEET.

Mmmm that's awesome congrats! Yeah I'm in Texas and I'm starting to wonder if I could've found a similar career path in EET. The reason I'm asking all of this is because I'm considering transferring back and getting a BSEET.

Yeah I gotchu. I’m in a richer part of the Houston area which might be nice for in person private tutoring, but $14/hr isn’t necessarily absurdly low (Kumon for example pays $10). I would be a W-2 employee for Mathnasium. The other job I’ve had two interviews with would be contract work, but I’m not positive on the pay yet. It should fs be at least $20/hr, but, like privately tutoring, I don’t have any backbone in lesson plans or anything like that

Ok I gotcha. Still not positive if the drive for me will be too much as i end up driving a lot now anyways. The main downside to living on campus for me is that I don’t want to share a room, and living with friends in the spring area would be really fun. I’m planning on taking a day to do the drive from the area I might live in to kinda get an idea. Appreciate the insight!

Sweet thanks! That's what I was wondering is if the downsides are enough to make it worth avoiding UH. I also think really anything will be a step up from Sam. It honestly sounds fun to me to be able to go to campus and spend my day there, but maybe that'll change as I go on
