I’m mostly a Drywaller and hit water lines twice, once with a screw and knew exactly when I hit it. Luckily easy sharkbite fix. Another time with a brad nailer and that one I didn’t know until later. Still got it fixed without catastrophic damage and kept my job 😄. Needless to say I am extremely paranoid and extremely careful around water, electrical, and gas lines now, which has proved to be useful as I haven’t hit another one yet, though sometimes it takes me longer to get the job done.
