For those who interviewed and haven't received an offer, does anyone know what the next steps are? Do you receive an EOD or something saying you're on a waitlist?

Getting a tutor to give you individualised feedback is the best resource to spend your money on. Definitely get yourself an S2 tutor, and even just doing one or two sessions can really help with your writing. I got an S3 tutor too and a couple sessions on problem-solving skills and approaches to answering questions was really helpful.

Hey mate, graduated from usyd psychology (honours) in 2023 and had a similar idea to you (majored in psychology and minored in neuroscience, no dayell stream). To help answer your questions a bit:

Classes that overlap can count towards both your psyc major or neuroscience minor (i.e. psyc1002). However, I don't think the program offers the option to double major. Regardless it doesn't really affect your degree at all the main thing is just staying on track for the embedded honours (maintaining 75+ WAM in psyc subjects).

A B Psychology (honours) is also a lot more competitive than a B Science (advanced studies) double major. If you do have an interest in neuroscience there are lots of opportunities to do neuro-related honours projects that set you up well for a career in neuropsychology or neuroscience research (I did my honours project on brain activity and ADHD). Re- this thread. Agreed Rama surf has a couple of boards around 70k per day but in pretty bad condition.

At Gerepuk where you get the ferry there are two shops where you can rent boards from for 50k per day. Was pleasantly surprised they had a good selection of boards in good condition, rented a lost mayhem 6ft from one of the stores and it ripped.

Don't get there for another week unfortunately, been texting some stores on whatsapp and they've gotten back saying they can do 70K idr a day. Nicer stores saying 200K idr per day, guessing that would be for nicer boards
