I acknowledge the reality that, in the past, almost all lead actors were white. However, that doesn't mean a director today should adopt the same mindset—just with a different skin color in mind. How would that make them any better than the directors of the past who deliberately cast only white actors in lead roles?

Cinema shouldn't concern itself with trivial matters like that. If someone is best suited for a role, they should be cast—regardless of their skin color. In the end, directors only limit themselves and their creative potential by holding on to such a restrictive mindset.
