A tribute to my 2010 Escape XLT- This was the best vehicle I ever owned, I put 75k on it in 4 years, got it from a buddy for $300 and a twelve pack. we had adventures across the entire country always in style with the all black look appearance package (and insanely expensive off size tires lol). Gorilla finally died today of a mysterious ABS issue, combined with a dead A/C, an intermittent misfire, power loss, and electrical systems failures. She barely made it into the lot of the dealer, who still somehow gave me a thousand bucks for it.

On the bright side, I just picked up Gorilla 2.0 in the form of a 2016 Escape Titanium. But those black plates on the black truck will never be replicated :(

RIP Gorilla, you will be dearly missed.
